Intelligent remediation system for removal of harmful contaminants in water using modified reticulated vitreous carbon foams (i-CLARE)

Project details

Status: Ongoing

Project period: 2020–2023

Principal: EEA and Norway grants (NOR/POLNOR/i-CLARE/0038/2019-00)

Coordinating institution: The Institute of Biotechnology and Molecular Medicine (IBMM)

The goal of i-CLARE is to design and produce the electrochemical water treatment system, with implemented artificial intelligence procedures dedicated to identifying and learn the most efficient operating parameters to remove of a given mixture of organic contaminants.
