NILU is an independent research institute founded in 1969. It is one of the leading specialized scientific laboratories in Europe dealing with problems related to air pollution on all scales. NILU's laboratories have received accreditation according to EN 45001.

DROPS will provide a full-chain analysis related to impact of health protection measures related to priority pollutants as identified by the Environment and Health Action Plan (EHAP), to support the development of cost effective policy measures against pollution related diseases and their wider impacts.
